La Plage Parisienne offers a real escape on the Seine, quai de Javel in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. With the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower and the sparkling waves of the Seine in its sights, the new address of Beaumarly, Gilbert & Thierry Costes, revisits the spirit of the guinguettes of yesteryear with a modern touch. In a colourful decor of the Roaring Twenties signed by Martin Brudnizki, a waterside cuisine is served in an atmosphere marked by good music.
The Food
At La Plage Parisienne, the cuisine is refined and sunny. The menu revisits the great Beaumarly classics in the spirit of a seafood house. We share a ceviche of sea bream with yuzu or beautiful oysters. For meat lovers, there is also a Signature cockerel, a Beaumarly beef tartar or a veal rib with sage. The desserts are as regressive as one could wish, tarte tatin, vanilla rice pudding or caramel egg cream.
