Chopard Red Carpet Collection: ‘Contes de Fées’

a la une, EXCELLENCE, High Jewellery

by Alexandra I.Mas

Each May, Chopard‘s Haute Joaillerie workshops unveil the full extent of their creativity. Designed by Caroline Scheufele to adorn actresses on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival, which Chopard has been an official partner of since 1998, the Red Carpet Collection is the most eagerly awaited event in the Maison’s jewellery calendar. This year, 77 creations inspired by the world of fairytales – ‘Contes de Fées’ – enchanted La Croisette with their whimsical and precious designs.

During Paris Couture Week, as a member of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, a selection of these masterpieces is being presented in the Place Vendôme Chopard mansion. This annual collection is both a creative and technical challenge, illustrating Caroline Scheufele’s passion for the 7th Art and the Cannes Film Festival.

The Red Carpet Collection was first revealed at the Cannes Festival in a prestigious fashion show featuring looks from Caroline’s Couture collection, merging the artistic crafts of couture and jewellery. Inspired by the soft and innocent charm of fairytales, the collection features enchanted designs such as sculptural necklaces, whimsical rings, and elegant earrings.
