In a stunning display of innovation and craftsmanship, German designer Philipp Plein – whose passion for horology has been evident for years – has once again captivated the world with his latest collection of Swiss Made timepieces. Building on his twenty-five-year legacy in the luxury fashion industry, Philipp Plein has transformed his namesake brand into one of the world’s most prestigious independent luxury empires. Based in Lugano, Switzerland, the PHILIPP PLEIN Group extends its influence with over 110 mono-brand stores worldwide, including flagship locations in Milan, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, Dubai, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Shanghai, and Singapore.

For Philipp Plein, Geneva is the iconic frame that enhances the spectacle of his presentations during Watches and Wonders, a cornerstone event for collectors and connoisseurs alike. Following the viral success of his 2023 timepieces in the jewelry sector, this season, the brand debuts a disruptive new collection that features three distinct lines of masterpieces: the PHILIPP PLEIN KING PHANTOM, CRYPTO KING, and DIAMOND QUEEN. Presented at the elegant Four Seasons Hotel on the lake shore of Geneva, this collection reflects the luxury spirit of the brand and Philipp’s unwavering commitment to innovation.

“I am very happy that Watches and Wonders is a brand appointment that every year brings my curiosity, creativity and expertise on this specific and exclusive event. Watches have always been in my heart and it’s a natural extension of my collection and lifestyle. I am excited to be in Geneva and present new styles that will complete my vision of luxury.”

The bold 55 x 45 mm tonneau case, crafted from polycarbonate, is a canvas for these eye-catching hues. At its heart, a sophisticated double-layer dial features the unmistakable 3D skull motif, a design element that speaks to the collection’s edgy character. The timepiece is powered by a Landeron 24 Skeleton Automatic Movement, a pinnacle of Swiss Made engineering, visible through a double-dome sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and a transparent caseback. The iconic see-through hexagonal cage on the case side adds an innovative twist, making the CRYPTO KING an extraordinary blend of pioneering aesthetics and masterful horology.
