Are you staying in Milan in October? You can’t miss the “Vivienne Westwood Corsets – From 1987 to Present Day” exhibition at the boutique on Corso Venezia 25 from October 2nd to 15th, or from October 19th to 26th at the LuisaViaRoma boutique in Florence.
The exhibition focuses on the subversive approach of the English house to corsetry, from 1987 to today, highlighting how underwear has become outerwear and symbolizing the connections between the corset, historical clothing, culture, and art, all sources of inspiration for Vivienne Westwood collections.
For this exhibition, a limited-edition jewelry line has been created. The emblem of the collection is the golden version of the Portrait corset pendant, which was presented in the Autumn-Winter 1988/1989 “Time Machine” collection and first appeared during the Autumn-Winter 1987/1988 “Harris Tweed” season.
The Portrait corset pendant is assembled on pearl threads or gold-plated chains, available as a necklace or bracelet with matching earrings. This edition is available at the Vivienne Westwood boutique in Milan.
